We’re so excited to see our photos- when will they be ready?!

I understand how exciting it is—and how hard it is to wait! Editing your photos so that they’ll be their very best takes time! My standard is about 2 months for weddings and 1 month for family sessions.

Can you customize wedding packages?

How long have you been a professional photographer? 17 years!!

Are you LGBTQIA-friendly? 

YES. 100% I identify myself as queer.

What should I expect from my family session?

A stress-free, fun, and enjoyable time. I will engage your children and capture genuine smiles!

What’s your approach to photographing a wedding? 

I strive to document your wedding day with rich images that allow you to relive the excitement, smiles, tears, joy, and love all over again- with the added “wow” factor of seeing your wedding documented from an artistic eye. I take photos of everything! My favorite is taking pictures of the couple before the wedding (first look!), the wedding party after the ceremony, and DANCING at the reception. I feel so honored to be a part of each wedding I photograph, and I am dedicated to serving my clients with stunning images that will be enjoyed for a lifetime. I add a touch of fun and spirit to your day and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

How do you approach a newborn session?

Newborn sessions are an excellent way to remember those fleeting moments when your baby is tiny and new. I take photos that show the family and all their love for their new baby! I approach newborn sessions as lifestyle sessions. A session generally takes 2 hours. Check out my gallery here for more examples of my lifestyle newborn sessions!

Will my photos be used online? 

I create private online galleries for weddings and portrait sessions. I also use photos in blog posts and on social media. If you are uncomfortable with this, just let me know, and I will absolutely not use your photos.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, I am so proper and responsible! (I have 2 types of insurance and have never used either!)

When should I do an engagement session?

Couples usually have engagement sessions 6 months to a year before their wedding.  You can schedule an engagement session in ANY season! Engagement sessions in the snow turn out great, so don’t be worried about only having your session done in warmer weather.

Do I have printing rights to my photos?

All weddings come with a digital collection and full printing rights.  If you purchased the digital collection from your portrait session, you can print/post as you like.   

Do you travel?

Yes! Yes! And yes again! I have done a number of destination weddings and really enjoy them! I have always traveled, and I love how my work and love of travel can combine! Fun fact about me: I have reached each continent.
