Maureen Cassidy, photographer and owner of Maureen Cassidy Photography, is located in Madison, Wisconsin. From pregnancy, children, family, engagements to wedding photography, she specializes in authentic images for those who love.
Her love of photography began 15 years ago with a 35mm camera and a darkroom she built in a friend’s garage. After a long break during which involved backpacking throughout the world (Mexico, Nepal, and Antarctica ) and the birth of her first daughter, she was brought back to the desire to capture life’s beauty through photography.
Maureen continues to bring a youthful passion and joy to her work, which focuses on family life, pregnancy, and weddings. After making the jump to state-of-the-art digital equipment, she started her own photography studio with focus on weddings and families. Maureen’s work has been published in a nationally-distributed magazine (Yoga Joyful Living) and used in promotional material by companies such as Shutterfly.com. But her favorite thing is to walk into someone’s home and see a gorgeous photograph that she has created hung on the wall warmly declaring the family’s history and love.
